Australia has become the country with the most installed solar power per capita - almost 1 kilowatt per person, writes the Australian newspaper Renew Economy. This is thanks to the photovoltaic panels on the roofs of buildings, which keep the country among the top 10 photovoltaic markets in the world. 20.8 gigawatts of solar panels have been installed in the country, of which 13 gigawatts are on the roofs of buildings. In a decade, the installed capacity has increased nearly 10 times.
